As we are counting down the days, stay tuned to the blog for updates! We had hoped everyone attending would be subscribed to this blog but quite a few haven’t yet so we will have to do some emailing, too. Better to have a few duplicate emails than someone miss out on important announcements!

Here are some updates to pages here that you will want to visit!  PAGE links can be found in the right side column.

Updated Agenda page has an updated schedule!

We have added a new page called Make and Takes!  Supply list  posted here!

The Play Day Page has now been updated with all the stamp sets, dies, tools and punches that will be available for Stampcationers to use for our 2 day stamping weekend!

The Treats and Eats page has been updated with Breakfast Buffet info!

The Shoebox Swap page has been updated with new numbers and things you will want to bring!

If you have signed up for one or more Line SWAP on Saturday (20 card fronts) Your names are posted on the Swaps page!

Off to stamp and cut paper!  Woo Hoo!! Linda

Hello Stampcationers!

Are you getting excited now that it is September?!  We are!  We’ve been stamping and cutting and punching (and then more stamping) getting ready!  Our Stampcation Presenters are getting their demonstrations ready for you, too!  I can’t wait to see all the new Holiday Mini goodies in action.

We have only 12 spots left for our event! If you know someone who was planning on attending, give a shout and tell them to get in quick!  Non-Demo Guests (over 18) can register at this time if you want to bring a friend with you!

We also need 7 more Shoebox swappers and 6 more card front line swaps to make all the groups an even 20.   So if you have been on the fence about the shoebox swap, be sure to email to sign up!

Updated Hotel info:  If you have already booked your room and you called a 1800 number, you may have paid an extra $5.  Apparently the hotel will only book it at $55 with our stampcation rate if you call directly.  So if you were charged extra, you will need to call to cancel and rebook it on the local number at 407-396-4222. Make sure you call and book the new room before you cancel the other room just in case we are full! If you have trouble, just let me know.

SUPPLY LIST:  As promised on Sept 1st, here is a list of supplies to bring for the make and takes.  This year we wanted to keep the number of inks, etc as low as possible by sticking with the DSP (Berry Blossoms) that coordinates with the stamp set, Fruit & Flowers.  Because these stamps are smaller, you can really get away with just markers except for the Early Espresso (Or chocolate chip, or Basic Brown) ink pad for the greetings.

*Remember that others you are sitting with might have these also and will probably share if you have chocolate :)

Lucky Limeade (Pear or Olive is close if you don’t have the lime) Marker

Calypso Coral Marker

Early Espresso Ink pad and Marker

Wisteria Wonder Ink pad and Marker

Real Red Marker

Daffodil Marker

Scallop Edge Border Punch

Stamp cleaner and mist

paper piercer and pad

Adhesives like Snail, Tombow Multi (liquid green cap) and Sticky Strip for boxes.

Basic stamping supplies to bring:  Paper cutter/scoring blade (or the new Simply Scored board), paper snips, stampin’ dimensionals (pop dots), mini glue dots,

Helpful to have but not required:

Stamp-a-Ma Jig

pearls and rhinestones

1-3/8″ Circle Punch (we will provide punched circles but it is easier to stamp and punch image yourself)

1-1/4″ square punch and 1-3/8″ square punch

Crystal Effects looks great on these little fruits – if you have it bring it!

Dazzling Details Glitter Glue (holiday mini) We will have some on tables up front

Blender Pen

Camera to remember ideas!

GREETINGS and SENTIMENTS:  There are some greeting sets that we are using for the make and takes.  We will have those sets up front on the stamp table for you to use during our 2 day event.  You can also wait to get home to add your greetings.   We will be using the following sets for the make and take samples if you have them and would like to have them for your own projects:

Tiny Tags or Petite Pairs

Happiest Birthday Wishes or Word Play

Of course, there will be a ton of greetings on the stamp table and you can make them into whatever you like!

On Sept 5th, we’ll be posting the stamp sets, dies and punches on the Stampcation Blog for the Play Day so you know what will be available to use.  Every set from the Holiday mini will be there along with a bunch of others!

Want to see a video from last year’s Stampcation?

Linda and Shantaie — this was one of the best planned and executed events I’ve ever been to! Thanks for inviting me to help in a small way — big fun and I know all of us from the space coast cannot wait for the next one. You rock!!! If you’re a demonstrator within range of Orlando and you missed this event, be sure to make it next time. Thanks again for all your hard work — and thanks to Matt, too!!!  Catherine H.
