Make and Takes!

Make and Takes are the best when you don’t have to cut the paper, right?  This is YOUR time to just relax and create with all the prep work done for you!  This year we have chosen the stamp set, Fruit & Flowers:

Originally, we had a tough time picking our set!  It had to be new in the SU catalog,  it couldn’t have been a convention stamp set, it couldn’t have been a demonstrator preorder and it had to be within our price point so we could afford it!  We were also really nervous (and a little crazy)  last year by using a Holiday Mini stamp set not knowing if it would make it in time and having time to create the projects, so we decided against doing that again.  The last deciding factor was to choose a set that had coordinating paper so you could walk away with a whole set or class of projects that you could easily duplicate.  So now that we have chosen this set and created the make and takes, we love it even more!  It’s fresh, fun and fruity!

SUPPLY LIST:  Because these stamps are smaller, you can really get away with just markers except for the Early Espresso (Or chocolate chip, or Basic Brown) ink pad for the greetings.  

 *Remember that others you are sitting with might have these also and will probably share if you have chocolate

Lucky Limeade (Pear or Olive is close if you don’t have the lime) Marker

Basic stamping supplies to bring:  Paper cutter/scoring blade (or the new Simply Scored board), paper snips, stampin’ dimensionals (pop dots), mini glue dots

1-1/4″ square punch and 1-3/8″ square punch

Helpful to have but not required:
Stamp-a-Ma Jig (for wood users)
pearls and rhinestones
1-3/8″ Circle Punch (we will provide punched circles but it is easier to stamp and punch image yourself)
1-1/4″ square punch and 1-3/8″ square punch (also on list above)
Crystal Effects looks great on these little fruits – if you have it bring it!

GREETINGS and SENTIMENTS:  There are some greeting sets that we are using for the make and takes.  We will have those sets up front on the stamp table for you to use during our 2 day event.  You can also wait to get home to add your greetings.   We will be using the following sets for the make and take samples if you have them and would like to have them for your own projects:
Tiny Tags or Petite Pairs
Happiest Birthday Wishes or Word Play

Of course, there will be a ton of greetings on the stamp table and you can make them into whatever you like!
