Stampcation Presenters!

Each year we hand select some talented designers to bring a project to WOW you! 

  Here are this year’s presenters and a little bit about them:

  Linda Heller, Stampcation Co-Creator/Designer/Organizer/Presenter

I’ve been a demonstrator for 12 years now!  Time flies when you are stamping, right?  I’m a lucky stamper to be doing this full time for the last 6 years.  My favorite events are demonstrator events like Stampcation! There is just something special about getting everyone together to enjoy this awesome hobby.  I split my time between Stamping School, our video tutorial website and my SU classes and have earned the incentive trip 6x and the Founder’s Trip 3x.  I’ll keep it up as long as I can since I love doing what I do!

I’ve been married to Matt for 6 years, who loves this business (almost) as much as I do!  He edits my videos and helps with all the audio/visual stuff you will see at Stampcation.

I livesin central Florida with my husband and two daughters 23 and 16. An admirer of the decorated life I have been a paper crafter for more than 12 years, but got my start as a children’s clothing designer. In my quest to share her passion for all things crafty with my young girls I discovered Stampin Up! As most of us were, I was instantly smitten with Stampin Up! rubber stamps, papers, and inks. After many years as a loyal customer, I decided to become a Demonstrator. While enjoying teaching classes, and the occasional workshop I  considered herself  primarily a hobby demo. In hopes of sharing my passion for stamping, and themed party projects I started a blog, not knowing how much that choice would ultimately change my path.

 Now a designer for Provocraft, I’m no longer a Stampin Up! demo, but continue to love all Stampin Up! products, and the lifelong friendships forged within the Stampin Up! community. As the co-hostess of Stampcation it’s my  goal to inspire and educate, while also bringing you all together to relax and reconnect. One of my favorite aspects of this event is creating the elements of the event theme, watching the vision come to life!

Catherine Harwood – Presenter

I’ve been a demonstrator since 1997 and have been stamping for more than 30 years — I can even remember stamping on envelopes with little foam stamps back in the early 1970s when I had a couple of penpals. St. Augustine, Fla. is my home as my mom is a native and I graduated high school there, but I also grew up in Charleston, W.Va. Now I live in Merritt Island with my husband Bill and our two kids.

Nance Lempinen-Leedy – Presenter

I live in the beautiful tree canopy of North Florida with my husband, our daughter and two feline friends plus a whole menagerie of woodland animals and critters.  I am a Reference Librarian at our local state college and have been crafty since my mom taught me to sew at the age of 8. I am inspired by art, interior design and fashion.  I became a Stampin’ Up demonstrator 2 ½ years ago and it has opened a whole world of paper crafting to me that I love to share with friends, family and through my blog Canopy Crafts (http://nanceleedy.blogspot.com/).  I am delighted to be part of the lineup at Stampcation!

I have been stamping for 30 years, but just discovered Stampin’ Up! 4 years ago.  Shortly after seeing it, I knew I needed it all so had to sign up to be a demonstrator.  I love taking Stampin’ Up products and seeing how many different ways they can be used.  My favorite technique is Shimmer Inks and the Stampin’ Spots have allowed me to have a complete set!  I also enjoy collage and mixed media art, especially when it ties in with old family pictures.  I live in Winter Springs with my soul mate Bill and two Jack Russell Terriers.  I am a new grandmother to a 7 month old grandson who is the light of my life!

Hi my Name is Patti Sharkey, I have been a Stampin up demonstrator ( on and off ) Since 1998.

Wow 13 Years ! But I have been stamping a lot longer. I originally started Stamping in NJ and moved to Florida with my full time job in 1999.

I enjoy stamping and teaching others. My friends tell me when I talk about stamping My face lights up. They know it is my Passion.

I am a single mother of 1 daughter Tara (31) and 3 crazy cats!

My greatest excitement this year was to turn my large guest room into a stamp room. (Who need visitors any way???) Now I am able to enjoy stamping and have classes in my room!

I can pretty much find everything that I need without tripping over something. Well I might have issues with discontinued stamps!

I’ve been stamping for 11 years. I signed up as a demonstrator after going to my first workshop. Card making is “my thing” and I love to share the stamping experience. Even after 11 years it is still so exciting to see a virgin stamper make their first card. SU! has given me so many opportunities to meet the best ladies in Orlando and beyond. I hope to stamp forever.

Emily Turner – Presenter

Let me be clear…I love stamping! Anything you can do with paper, fabric and be creative at the same time is for me. Stampin’ Up…what more could you ask for.

My daughter introduced me to stamping and Stampin’ Up about 8 years ago. After a couple of years, I decided I wanted to be a Hobby Demonstrator. Well, 6+ years later I am a hobby demonstrator but with a downline, one of whom is my daughter. Last year in December, I promoted to Manager…still can’t believe it.

I’ve lived most of my life in Florida. When I moved to Orlando about 50,000 people lived here. Please don’t ask what year. My children use to ask me “before Disney World” and I always answered “before Disney World was a glimmer in Walt Disney’s eye”. I grew up in College Park where we swam and water skied  in our backyard on Lake Silver. When you’re a kid and you can jump in the lake to cool off. Orlando was a great place to live.
